Two extract types exist: the simplified public-data extract and the full land-register extract. The order is placed online via a form; as an official document, the extract is sent in original form by post within 3 to 5 business days — not by e-mail.
The land register is not the cadastre
The land-register extract shows a parcel's private-law relationships — ownership, easements, mortgages. The PLR cadastre instead shows public-law restrictions: zoning, building lines, and other public-law charges.
